Formula 1 racer Liam Lawson stated he narrowly avoided a potentially fatal collision during Sunday's Mexico City Grand Prix when two marshals ran across the track directly in front of him
The concerning event took place on the third rotation when marshals were seen on the track as Lawson was rejoining the race following an premature pit stop to change his compromised front wing

"During the third lap, safety personnel were informed and made ready to access the circuit and clear the fragments once all cars had passed"
